About

R.L. Lyone is the lead AI prompt engineer and founder of the transmedia entertainment company Lyone Media Group.

Her professional career began as an intern at the award-winning Cue Recording Studios in 2017. After receiving her Master of Business Administration in 2020, she founded music-entertainment startup Thaideke and did the UI/UX design for their independent music streaming service and online music store Sonicol. It was also during this time that she began her research into Christian theology, worldbuilding, and conlangs.

In 2024, she made the decision to officially dissolve Thaideke and head in another direction. The main factors in this decision were a Zoom conversation with PledgeMusic founder Benji Rogers, the shutdown of Live Undiscovered Music (LUM), and the rise of generative AI.

In 2025, she founded Lyone Media Group and directed the company's first AI-short film "Vessel of Mourning" in 48 hours for the Runway Gen:48 competition using a variety of generative AI image, music, and video tools. This marked the first time her original fictional language, “Senguto”, was used in a film. She then went on to work as a Generative AI Animator on one of the first narrative AI feature films in history, “The Stranger” (2025), directed by Michael Szymczyk.

Headquartered in the United States of America with a small team, the primary purpose of Lyone Media Group is to manage and cultivate the expanding intellectual property library of the “Lyone Tropic”—a fictional universe and dystopian-fantasy media franchise.

This spring marked the film's official entry into the global festival circuit, providing our first opportunities to share this story with audiences, fellow creators, and industry professionals. It has been a season of growth and discovery, defined by the debut of a work that sits at the intersection of traditional human-led storytelling and generati

R.L. Lyone’s Director’s Statement for the Upcoming Post-War Short Film “Snow Colored Ashes”
At its core, Snow Colored Ashes is an exploration of how families endure the unthinkable during times of war. I was inspired by my family's stories of living through the war in Uganda and the trauma they still carry with them because of what they saw. As a child, my mother saw piles of dead bodies burning in trucks, soldiers snatching people from their homes, boys being taken to fight, young girls being taken, and neighbors lying in the street dead. Snow Colored Ashes has already captivated audi

To gain true resonance with the traditional film industry, the focus must move beyond perfect visuals and toward the foundational pillars of cinematic storytelling. By mastering narrative architecture and intentional sound design, AI filmmakers can transform beautiful sequences into unforgettable cinematic experiences.
